Directly after launch, the train enters the loop from above. This
feature makes the SpeedMonster loop unique, classified as a Norwegian
loop in the Roller Coaster Data Base.
The pictures to the right and on top of this page show the train twisting around the track to get to the inside of the loop.
The large picture below shows the whole loop, seen from the parking lot. The graph shows the accelerometer data during the tour.
