Project "Impact"
Science in the Liseberg amusement park

A collaboration between University of Gothenburg and Liseberg

What is up? What is down? How does the heart respond when you are upside down?

An amusement park can be seen as a large laboratory, offering an abundance of accelerated and rotating coordinate systems, giving unique opportunities to investigate the laws of physics and experience them throughout the body.

Information about physics in the park can be found in some of the publications from the project.

Most of the material at this site is in Swedish, but there is, of course, a wide variety of international sources for various aspects of amusement park physics.
